Mga Kapatid

Throughout the past year, I have been observing Mga Kapatid's handle of publicity and noticed that all of their events were publicized through e-mail listserves, exceeding the efforts of both Twitter and Facebook. WIth this in mind, I focused the website on getting visitors to sign up for the mailing list in order to get information on upcoming events.
The overall site's feel is updated and clean, with random images of past events evoking feelings of joy, fun, and family. I wanted people to feel like they could be a part of that closeness, as well.
I took the redesign as an opportunity to play around with HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery, which greatly enhanced the overall feel and look.
