After dining at Lime in San Francisco, I had the sudden urge to create an updated dessert menu for them. The concept was to mimic an artist's palette as it's often said that someone who knows food has a "distinguished palate." With that in mind, I took each dessert and used the different flavors as swatches hinting to what the diner would taste if that dessert was ordered. The long, narrow shape is derived from the establishment's layout while a light typeface was chosen to keep with the trendy and club vibe of the venue.

The menu would sit atop a piece of balsa wood and would stay in place by two elastic bands. The wood would reinforce the palette idea.
